Well guys, Loved the podcast, i’m a regular listener. i’m so glad to hear people talking about us. I’m from Wardog Studios, maker of Force of Arms. I’m actually a weekly listener but have never posted/registered until now. Thanks for the mention, in your mail bag section. We’re happy to hear tidbits here and there and REALLY love to hear feedback from the regular gamer, which we are all as well.
We are a small indie game team without the huge bliz or sony budgets but what we lack in dough we make up for in heart and determination. As for the block of time comment, we’re taking in ideas at this point. We really want to know, we don’t expect a new team to get 19.99 for a game, that’s retarded. We are looking at phase 1 as a 5 buck a month goal, phase 2 at a 10 buck a month and phase 3 or the complete game as a 15 buck standard. But, we’re taking ideas on this, and at this point we’ve gotten a lot of great input from those casual gamers who’ve responded on our forums. Just like your mail bag mentioned.
At this point, we’re not looking for 10mil WOW numbers, that’s crazy, we’re not a big corp looking for the huge numbers, we’re gamers looking for a great mech game that mech fans are gonna love and a huge niche that’s never been done and YOU KNOW PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY.

Now, i understand Wardog is open to suggestion, but for the sake of argument, don’t you think a 5 dollar jump is a bit… drastic? Imagine if Blizz started WoW at 12.99. when BC releases, it jumped to 17.99. I think the player base would be highly pissed off with that big of a jump.
