I’ve beaten another game! …Kind of. After, I dunno, five to eight hours, I got through all the stages, boss battles and mini-games of Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem. And then, SPOILER, the game got all Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. And then some! There’s 20 “special” levels, and then there’s 10 or so seriously hard “expert” levels, and then you’re also asked to play through the entire game again (70+ levels and boss battles) with a much more difficult requirement for each stage. So, yeah, in the interest of getting the most of my gaming time, I’ve moved on to my next DS game– Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story– which is an RPG and therefore may not be finished as quick as the last. I’ll come back to Mini-Land here and there, but game time is too short to retread anything.

Elsewhere, I started up Kirby’s Epic Yarn again with my buddy Chris, and he loved it, which, honestly, anyone should. We played that for a couple hours, on top of some unmemorable 360 games. Well, I remember playing the demo of a D&D downloadable game that really sucked and paled in comparison to the live-and-in-person D&D campaign I will continue Friday, but whatever else we played on 360, I honestly can’t remember. By the way– I can’t wait to tell you more about my real world D&D next week.

In League of Legends land, I had some games as Teemo with Scott, and also with Scott and Mark, and am doing pretty darn good. I’ve had practice before, against the game’s AI bots, so I wasn’t too freaked out and comfortably fell into my role of poisoning people with blow darts and surprising them with exploding mushrooms. I may need to play this panda koala thing a little more frequently…
