We’re Not Dead

“OMG! POD-FADE!”

No, no, no…

The guys actually recorded an episode the week before last (I missed it; it was probably all about Warhammer anyway ;) ), but then our main technical editors (that’d be Mark and Jim) went on vacation for a week right when they’d normally be editing and posting that episode. Jason called me up at that time last week, right when I was driving to the airport for Electronic Arts (read my write up on a tour of their HQ here) asking if episode 59 was being edited… And the answer is not yet! But it exists, and we should all be getting back together (I hope) tomorrow evening to record episode 60! I can’t speak to Mark or Jim’s schedule when they return (which should be today), but they can add a comment to this post on when they think Episode 59 shall rise, or if it will be a secret “LOST EPISODE” of Channel Massive.

I’m actually very excited to hear more about their Warhammer impressions. How about you? Are you digging it? Already returned to WoW? Or sticking for the long haul? Maybe you’re actually playing something else, like LotRO or CoH

Actually, I think it’s going to be episode version number 60.19832452 when we get back to the IGL studios. I believe Mark recorded a small podcast to let everyone know that we took the week off and failed to edit that one too. :O

Oh well, here’s to getting back on the wagon.

Have you been to the EA in LA Noah? Compared to the Redwood one its actually unimpressive, but compared to other work places it is still full of “vibrant video game stuff”. (i.e pool, bb court, game rooms, etc.). Good to know you’re all still alive from your resident LOTRO fanboi…

Warhammer is simply superb. I am having more fun with it right from the start than any other MMO I have played. The interface is great and there is tons of content everywhere you go in the game. The graphics fall between EQII and Warcraft, but who cares? Warhammer is amazing. I love the public quests and all of the areas are filled to the brim with fun. So far, I am working on a White Lion toon on the Volkmar server and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. AOC: canceled, EQII, canceled, WOW, play out the month and then cancel. Warhammer is fun, addictive and tasty too! I can’t believe how much I like this game as I never fell for the hype prior to launch. Great job Mythic! I am hooked!

Omigod! No! I can’t be a blasted fanboy. haha! Seriously, I am really surprised about how much I like this game. I always try to give MMOs a long time before passing judgement, but in the case of Warhammer, I already enjoy it so much, I don’t care how I’ll feel later on. When it comes down to it, it really is all about the fun you have with a game. I mean, I’m actually getting up early and playing for an extra hour before going to work. i have never done that with any other MMO. I eat Darkelf witches for breakfast!
