It is with deep regret that I…

reset the Release-O-Meter for Age of Conan to Q1 of 2008.  Apparently the alpha/beta feedback was enough to force some re-factoring.  As much as this crushes me, for it means I will face a cold dark winter with no new killer MMO to play, it does mean that FUNCOM is taking the high road by making sure that they release a top notch game and not another Vanguard: Saga of a very few Heroes.  So the Release-O-Meter has been reset.

Thanks for the bad news Noah, may Balthazaar, God of Unforseen Delays feast upon your eyeballs.  I prepare now to begin my mourning ritual which will surely involve two pints of human blood, several dark candles, two bottles of Jack Daniels and some random small arms fire.  See you on the other side.

Damn you Funcom! Damnnnnn youuuuuuuuu! Good point though. I’d rather see them put out a great game right out of the box than a beta test.

Thank goodness I like to play console games. I’ll be able to get plenty of love there. Maybe it’s just ADD, but I was really looking forward to Conan coming out… this year. The noob nights are all the more fun when there’s truly new material to go through. OH well… we have the succubus coming up…
