    Another good show… not much to say..no controversial blog-o-steria… though am I the only one who thinks Turbine is kinda dumb for releasing so close to Wraith of the Leech King? Maybe Steefel is trying out his “critical mass” theory :p

    @Julien

    I don’t think it’s a dumb move at all.

    You have to keep up with the competition these days and LOTRO was due for a big expansion.

    It’s been around a year and a half since it was released and I doubt they could delay it without losing subs to other MMO’s.

    True…they have gone several months w/ out an update…Its just as Mark said though, ppl who may have wanted to try both will be wrapped up in WoW and wont play it, but I guess to keep current subs it defiently makes sense.

    Hey, I found the Nameless One (Derick). Go listen to “Shut Up! We’re Talking #35″. He sent them the same rant he sent you guys.

    They seemed to be as confused and overwhelmed with that rant as you guys were. hehe

    BTW, your show sucks as always!

    @nerrollus

    Well…now we know why he isn’t recording bits for our show anymore.

    Traitorous wretch. :)

    Yeah that’s what I was thinking …. Hard to believe the nameless one turned into a total carebear. Nothing against Shut Up! We’re Talking, I actually really like that podcast. But, Shut Up! We’re Talking is like a PvE podcast and Channel Massive is like the PvP version of Podcasts.

    I vote for crucifixion, but maybe I’m a bit extreme.

    There once was a boy so nameless;
    His words were trite and shameless,
    But now he speaks no more
    Which we’re all the better for…

    @Daniel

    Cute.

    But we actually enjoyed having The Nameless One’s weekly rants and they will be missed.

    If you feel like you can do a better job, you’re more than welcome to give it a shot.

    @ Jason

    I agree with Daniel I really didn’t enjoy anything the nameless once had to say either and I’m glad he left for SUWT. Although it’s too bad for them. I heard one of the same voice mails on that show that he left for you guys; I turned off SUWT.

    And before you ask me to contribute if i can do better… perhaps I will at some point if i have something constructive to say.

    Keep up the good work though I really do enjoy the podcast.

    I guess I just don’t feel the need to continuously bash the guy.

    He was the first regular contributor to the show and I don’t harbor any ill will towards him.

    @mark: I fee it’s my job as the consumer of your product to keep you guys grounded. If we all gave you nothing but high praise you’d all become egocentrict narcisist … Well, bigger egocentrict narcisist. And no one wants that.

    @jason: As much as I hate to disagree with you, since I normally share your views on things (and you have a really cool computer), I was really tired of him too. I’m actually kind of glad to see him go. He was OK at first, but after awhile he just kind of wore on me. I’m sure you guys will be able to fill his spot with something worthwhile … After all, you’re the M-Team.

    PS: Do you guys have a cool van like the A-Team did? Or is it more of like a rusty Yugo?

    Ha, I’m just bustin the nameless one’s chops! You guys are callin’ me out? No problem, I’ll have to come up with something worthwhile to chime in on. I actually did skype you guys once with a spoof of your intro, but since you never even made fun of me for it, I’m guessing that it did not go through. I can come up with a few good topics, but feel free to throw out a topic that you guys want to discuss. Maybe I’ll send an MP3 instead of a skype mail. In the meantime, I’m still enjoying Warhammer, trying to level up my White Lion past 20 in my spare time. Just for kicks, I rolled a Black Orc on a server where Destruction was rewarded with extra exp and renow; a pretty good system to encourage balance on the various servers. Later.

    Hmmm…the Skype line never seems to have a problem when SexyGurrrl88 calls in.

  14. October 23, 2008 at 7:58 am | Permalink

    Dammit! Sexygurrl88 wins again. But, I’m not giving up. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can….
