One giant leap for my 13 month old son who took his first step yesterday! It wasn’t pretty, but it was a very cool thing to witness.

It’s been amazing watching him “level up,” acquiring new skills and taking on harder “mobs” like my poor cat.

The processes involved in learning and development have always been fascinating to me and the inner workings of the brain are just mind-boggling (pun definitely intended). Ugobe, the developers of Pleo, have created a robot dinosaur that apparently can learn and develop his own unique personality over time depending on how you interact with it. I wonder if I can teach it to bring me a beer. I know I plan on trying that trick out on my son.
