Perhaps no one even remembers who the hell Jim is, perhaps you’ve all seen this trailer, and perhaps you’ve heard all these promises, and I’m behind on the times as usual — but let me tell what I like and what I know. Of all the video games I’ve ever played, perhaps the most captivating I have ever played has been BioWare’s Knights of the Old Rebublic. I was a late-comer to this game. As many of you will recall, I’m not much of an early adopter, especially when it comes to video games. Like most everything I’ve ever played, I relied on the other members of Channel Massive to say, “dude, you need to check this out,” when I finally got off my ass and bought a first-gen X-Box (which Mark helped me mod to be the media center I use to this day). I was so taken in with KOTOR, because never before had I played a game where the decisions and choices you make actually impact your character further than the current little arc, mission or quest you are in. Your choices actually define who you are and how others react to you. Some of you will recall that I’m also a social gamer and, believe it or not, the NPC companionship in this game was so dramatic and thought out, that I was totally engulfed in the story, truly interacting with other characters. Needless to say when I watched this trailer I was utterly blown away by the promises that BioWare is making for The Old Republic: choices and decisions — dark and light that define you as a character every step of the way; deep Star Wars story and lore; dramatic companionship from NPC characters; more content than any of their other properties. So, perhaps there are only three people (Jason, Mark and Noah) who have contemplated What Would Jim Play, but I will tell you this: if BioWare delivers on the promises they are making, TOR is it!

Anyways glad you think you found a game you’ll love, Jim. If you do play this game, I hope you consider checking out the possibility of joining some of my friends at http://www.legionofmyth.com I doubt I will play TOR any time soon after it’s release as I am a one game at a time player and WOW is it for me currently.
I know you checked out our forums once before but check in again as, the guys at LOM (Legion of Myth) are eager to create a TOR guild and welcome anyone interested.
