Jason talks about the plans for the mini-cast, Xbox 360 DLC, a fascinating new technology, his new job and people who don’t get it.
And here’s some linkage for things that have piqued my interest today:
- OnLive Announces Cloud-Based Gaming Service
- Fallout 3 DLC Issues
- Is real roleplaying impossible in MMORPG’s? I’ve always felt like it’s just time consuming and doesn’t translate well as opposed to the table top experiences I’ve had in the past. Is there a way to inject some roleplaying life into your game? Ysharros has some intresting ideas and starts a good debate . Give them a read.
- Another story of getting those weird looks…
Nice job! Funny thing about that cloud computing PC hardware… I was talking to someone from Nintendojo about wanting the media-free gaming consoles to just arrive already (no, not the Phantom, thanks) and then this thing was announced. I wonder if it’ll catch on better than Phantom.
Gratz on the first mini-cast man! Awesome! I have serious questions about the viability of this OnLive thing but now that the proverbial cat is out of the bag, maybe we’ll get some serious details. Oh, and imagine me giving you a weird look when you talk about your job.
Congratulations on the new job, sounds like a lot of fun!
And I like the mini-cast format, it’s like a Channel Massive news bulletin.
Totally! I think we need the cool teletype AP printing noise in the background with a circa-1960 era announcer voice saying, “This…Just…In!”
