You may have noticed that a crackling noise starts showing up part way though the TWiG segment. We’re aware of it and unfortunately there wasn’t much we could do about it. No amount of EQ/Noise gate tweeking was doing any good. Grrrrrrrrr. So frustrating!
Hopefully we can nail down what happened next time out.

Blizzard’s new policy blows. Something less specific should have been implemented. People use add-ons to some misses in the WOW base interface. I think a donation button is fine. People who don’t like that don’t have to use that add-on right? No one is forced to use a specific add-on.
The problem with them only being able to do it on their web sites is that these add-ons get passed around. I know when I played WOW our raid required add-ons were uploaded on our guild forum. I would never see the developer’s site or knew who the heck created them.
I think it’s unfortunate when WOW has had some really dedicated add-on developer. Anyone – a-n-y-o-n-e who has ever raided has used someone’s add-on to play WOW. I think the add-ons change hands too freely for the only information about donations to be on the developer’s site. As for Carbonite, why didn’t people just not use it if it was so offensive? What they did shouldn’t be allowed – spamming for donations in game. Other than that, who cares if someone charges for a mod when none of them are required.
There was a time when to download from Curse you had to use their install client. I refused to download a client application from some website I didn’t trust. That meant that I simply couldn’t use add-ons only available via Curse. Oh well, my problem and I dealt with it. When they stopped that nonsense then I started using Curse. *shrug*

About the new battle.net… is there a friends list or achievements for older games (i.e Starcraft/Warcraft 3)? While the premise of getting all my Blizzard games on one site is cool, if that’s all they’re offering I’d rather that they had put it on STEAM.
